There are officially too many freakin' video games out there. Too many GOOD video games. Back in my day of 2D platforming, (cripes, I feel old) while there were a lot of video games out there, you had a general idea on what would appeal to you, and what won't. Plus, unless you were playing an RPG, you could beat any game in a weekend or less.

Now a days, even non RPGs can be dozens of hours long. That and the fact it can be hard to figure out what's good and what's not because there are so many video games out there. Plus there's a higher than ever chance you might have missed something good because it didn't get popular. (I almost missed out on Godhand and Psychonauts, but I still can't help but to wonder...)

As a kid, you can easily waste time with little to no ramifications. As an adult, you have a job and/or school, a social life, responsibilities, and quite possibly a family. I have a freakin' backlog of games I WANT to play, and it sucks. I really think people should stop making games...just for a little while, and tell people to go play some really good games that are already out. Think of all the good stuff that you could go through in a year without having to put something on hold.

Any ways, this went on long enough. Think about it. You all know I'm right.
